Wrong-Way Collision Injures Two Along U.S. 84 in Lamb County

LAMB COUNTY, TX – A dangerous wrong-way crash along U.S. Highway 84 left two people injured late Thursday night. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the head-on collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Lamb County.

Investigators say a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it slammed head-on into an oncoming westbound vehicle. The violent impact caused injuries to the occupants of both cars.

The driver of the wrong-way vehicle suffered what are being described as minor injuries. However, the occupant of the other vehicle sustained moderate injuries and may have faced more serious trauma.
