Father and Daughter’s Lives Lost in Devastating Car Accident, Covert Note Exposes Truth

During an inquest held at Grimsby Town Hall on April 10, 2024, disturbing details emerged about a tragic incident involving Ashley and his two-year-old daughter, Oria Henry. The toddler, who had spent the weekend with her father in Skegness, was last seen alive on June 18, 2023. Ashley, suffering from anxiety and depression following a breakup, left a chilling note on his computer expressing his intent to end both his and Oria’s lives on Father’s Day.

On their journey back to Leicestershire, Ashley’s car veered off the road and collided with an oncoming HGV on the A153 between Ruskington and Anwick. Despite efforts to determine the exact cause of Oria’s death, it remains inconclusive, although indicators suggest she may have died before the collision.

The coroner’s report points to a probable unlawful act preceding the fatal crash. Notably, there were no signs of braking before impact. Following the incident, a murder investigation was initiated.

In the wake of the tragedy, Oria’s mother, Rachael Leader, shared a poignant tribute to her daughter, reminiscing about Oria’s radiant smile and expressing the profound loss she feels. Despite the unbearable pain, Rachael vows to honor Oria’s memory and finds solace in the belief that they will be reunited in heaven one day.
